Though the trips themselves probably couldn’t have been more different, I had the same amazing awakening of inspiration after traveling to Peru. It cut through the stagnation of some dull months like a knife and filled me with plans and ideas and pure insights that I never expected, and I came back to the same work program with a fully refreshed enthusiasm. It’s amazing how a rough, go-go-go trip can be one of the most restorative experiences you can give yourself. Next time you’re in NY we should swap stories!

Nicole, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. It’s so interesting what you said — yes! Restoration and connection through the busiest of moments seems like a paradox, yet the reflection after the fact can be so powerful. I can’t wait to hear about your trip in Peru. It sounds incredible. I will be in NY in June — contact me lets swap stories please 🙂
