// Good morning 😌 I am breathing into the new y // Good morning 😌 I am breathing into the new year by releasing the tumultuous 2020.
I wrote a letter to 2020, admitting I used 2020 as a scapegoat. I know it’s been dark for a lot of us, which has been deeply painful. Yet, through this darkness, I’ve discovered profound gratitude in discovering our impermanence, our potential to love, and the beauty of slowing down. So, I welcome you to read my cathartic letter on the blog, from my heart to yours. It’s an emotional release to dig deeper and find the meaning. Thank you for being here with me. I’m with you too 😘

// just looking to stay grounded to learn from my // just looking to stay grounded
to learn from my past
without judging myself
for all i have seen.
treating myself with kindness
by breathing into
the space within me,
welcoming feelings
of presence
and love.
these shadows
do not consume me
but instead
blanket me
with awareness,
a new way of seeing;
a way to connect
to my truth.
when i begin to
snuggle up
with this blanket of
darkness,
i can feel comforted
rather than afraid;
i welcome love
instead of fear.
i am always doing
the best i can
with what i have
in this moment.
i trust this moment
to teach me
to stay gentle
and kind,
even when it’s
most challenging.
🙏🏻
have a beautiful day (:
stay gentle
and kind.
your heart
and mind
are worthy.

feeling the creative juices flowing again and riding this wave 🌊 it’s been a challenging few weeks and i am connecting deeper to the things that are triggering me, releasing them as i learn from them. letting go as i ebb and flow with my emotions, wants, and needs. mediating. breathing. creating. being. doing yoga with #ywabreath daily. healing. welcoming my “no,” the tears, and breath as they cleanse me and help me connect deeper.

i wrote this poem
& wanted to share
because in my heart
i really do care
about all the things
you have done
in preparation for
twenty-twenty-ONE!
we’ve been through so many
challenging times
& one way i process
is by creating these rhymes
🙃
// hello, 2021 🙂 welcome welcome! we have been wa // hello, 2021 🙂 welcome welcome! we have been waiting for you! here you are, yet not much has changed. my heart is still free and I’m finding my way. my values and intentions remain forever the same, for without my anchor, I would have nothing to gain.
here is to another year
of learning and growing
in love and in spirit🥰

// trying to hold onto the magic that was never re // trying to hold onto the magic
that was never really here
i don’t know what i’m chasing,
but it’s been a helluva year!

searching for peace,
comfort, and joy...
no matter what i do,
it takes extra effort to enjoy

unfamiliar & confusing
every moment can feel
i know i’m not alone in asking:
is 2020 fo’ real?!

so as our hearts reach their limits
and the unfamiliar persists,
we tap into our resilience, believing
discomfort + peace can coexist.

my mind feels so frazzled
as i begin unpacking this year
with broken pieces around me -
what has gotten us here?

with the challenges i’ve met
and the unknown future i face,
may the universe & God
allow me to continue with grace

for i know i am capable
of overcoming and growing
i have done it once before
despite not really knowing

when the end of the road
would meet my feet
i just kept on walking -
my heart knows no defeat!

i believe together
we will remain strong
as we seek understanding
of where we belong.

so as another year
comes to a close,
may we find the peace inside
and love that infinitely grows...
